Hehe nothing beats home... or the people around home, rather. =P
Spent plenty of time with Joash! =P Got to wear my canggih new helmet to go riding ;-)
Went to a place called "The Hungry Hog" in Subang for a fantastic catch-up session with my beloved coursemates... battled heavy traffic for 1.5 hours, rounded the place 5 times looking for parking. Complained and complained about how much I went through just to eat some pork... till I ate the pork. :-O After that it was utter bliss and no more whining. hehehe! Had a good time with them, I miss having classes with them! We laughed our night away.. Haha.. NUS people ain't that much fun. *Sorry Andrea!*
Dropped by PKV's Malam Suai Kenal, got to meet some of my juniors, but mostly to see the people whom I've grown rather close to in PKV. :-)
Next week I'll be attending PKV's 60th Jubilee! And FES' jubilee too!
Today went for CF, talked a bit, left for a talk by AMG Media.. they're looking for interns! At first I thought I'll just drop by to listen a bit and leave early, but... the talk caught my interest that I stayed till the end and even stayed back to talk to friends after it. :-) Have to think about internship now.. hmm.. I've shot several emails out, but haven't gotten the answers I truly seek. Beginning to doubt I'll actually get the answers to my questions. Considering that my degree allows me to enter journalism/advertising/publishing/media - in the corporate world and none of these really appeal to me (I've always wanted to enter the academic line, if I had such a love for the corporate world I would have chosen something more 'concrete' like law/accounting/something more professional. But teaching, now that's my passion. And may as well teach something I truly enjoy!) I think I'll settle for journalism/publishing. Radio ain't so much my thing, sales and advertising definitely out!
I wouldn't mind trying out a theatrical company though, but I don't know what sorta opportunities I'll get as an intern. I was rather fascinated by today's talk because if we are chosen, we will be trained over a span of 6 Saturdays - in preparation for the actual internship. That's pretty cool.
I'm old!
I'm old!
I'm old!
Haha. Just stuff that keeps running through my mind. Internship, graduating, working - wow! I still remember my first day of school in year 1 and form 1 and uni!
Soon, I'll be riding around town in a leather jacket; next to a big strong man who belongs to me!! Hey, you only live once. ;-)
God bless,
Jo
