Exam results

Training aside, let's talk about my exam results. Not too bad, I must say so myself. =) Waiting for my last 1A. History.

Let's see.. BM & Science 79%, Moral 82%, Math & Geography 84%, Econs 87%, Accounts 90%, English 94%. Yeah my Geography, Econs and Accounts dropped.. but not too much. My weaker subjects like Math and Moral improved by leaps and bounds. =)

I'm surprised too. Trust me. I studied way less than last term! But well, I'm happy and not complaining. Only effort I put in extra was Math and Moral, and that sure paid off. =) Especially my Math! For paper 1 I decided to let it go, cause it was same day with some important subject, so I got super low for it, 25/40. Then I decided I must get that A1 this term, so I put in plenty of effort(the day before) into Math for paper 2. Got an amazing 92/100 for paper 2!!! Yeah, I'm amazed. =D

I'm enjoying this. Hahaha. My average percentage is now 84.945%. Amazing. Now.. I can only hope on History..

God bless

Life Hurts

Sore index finger on my left hand. No idea why, been very irritating for the past few days. Then just before training I cut my finger nails, third finger's finger nail on my right hand too short, just as irritating.

So I went for training with 2 injured fingers. Well, not really injured, just painful.

To start off my training.. jogging. Normally I'll just follow the fastest fellow if I feel like it.. so today I felt like it. Well, today was 15 rounds, not 10 minutes. So this fellow started zooming off. I just followed, thinking he'd tire out soon enough.. but nooo... with me on his heels it just spurred him on, I think I was irritating him that he couldn't shake me off or leave me behind. So I had a really exhausting run for the first time in many many months. *Sigh* Plus he supposedly ran 2 extra rounds. Sheesh.

Immediately after that had games. Supposed to play with nearly everyone for ranking, or some nonsense lah. I was still exhausted from the run, and then my coach asked me to play with the same guy who made me run like a mad dog. So.. yeah, I played. Thought no problem cause I've beaten him a few times before.. only think I found out is that I was still exhausted, and still needed to recover. So he won that game 14-21. No problem with that though. Games are games.. meant for fun. =)

After that played a few more games with others.. oki ler quite fun. Except for one thing.. all my opponents were so serious! All intent on beating me.. Lol. I would have prefered doubles, more laughing + talk. Today my opponents were basically out for my blood, no smiles and all. Forced me into that mood too. =(

But still had fun lah. Games are good for health. =D

After that had some running.. well, it was us big kids against some small kids. To make it short, the coaches just wanted us big kids to lose. After that did some mind-dizzying thingy(turning around) as 'punishment'. Right.. well, I did not intend to go first, I just wanted to see how many kids they killed before they decided to call it off. Well, not enough appararently.. I was about to get off scot-free cause 1 coach forgot that I hadn't done yet... but another coach had to open her large gap and said, "Joanne haven't done!"

So yeah.. I had to do.. I just had this gut feeling that they'd torture me extra you see.. cause of my erm.. not-so-quiet method of voicing my opinion over that whole turning thing. Hahaha.

Gave some crap about exam tomorrow, nope didn't work. Gave somemore crap about SPM. Nope, didn't work. Yeah, I'm on the losing end here.. they're coaches after all. Hahaha. Who cares? Make their life tougher and that's all that matters. Rather than going down meekly and following their not-so-bright ideas.

Well, after doing the turning thing we're supposed to walk and touch another shuttle.. just to see how dizzy we are I guess. Well, I went slowly, they can't force to go faster. I didn't count, just got up after a few circles and as usual my coach had had to count.. so I had to do somemore. Slowly, I add. I faked some dizziness when I saw another coach taking the shuttle from where it was supposed to be.. and when she was in front of me I made a move that was surprising for a supposedly giddified person. Well.. some previous victim had left sweat all over the court/tile right where I made my lunge.. and yeah. You can guess the rest. The usual cartoon character sliding over banana skin, except I slid over sweat. Flat on my back.

That was too much for me. I just started shaking.. with laughter. LOL! After my coaches rushed over and certified that I was alive without any broken bones, some silly fella decided to carry me for a bit.. by my arms and legs. Someone mentioned an ambulance..

So yeah.. I'm still alive, with an added injury. Not really an injury, just some pain on the right side of my waist. What do you expect, after sliding like that? Well, I suppose I'm just fortunate I didn't injure myself furter.

So much for thinking that my injury-prone days were over when I stopped that training. That was injuries obtained during training. This one is injuries obtained during playing. Lol.

Well anyway, I don't know if I'm going back Malacca next weekend.. so may have to skip training. Was actually hoping to see if I could train with my cousin in Malacca.. just for the fun of it. Will have to find out.

Pastor was sick yesterday and today.. praying for him. Compared to what he's facing, a couple of sore fingers and some pain on me are nothing.

Take care all,
Joanne

Good days

Well, let's see.. on Sunday training.. ooh. Coach really decided to torture us. So much for torture training being over.

She made us roll up a full 1.5litre bottle! Lazy to explain now, but trust me, it's not an easy task. 8 sets of it. She made my group do 12! Won't go into detail about why. Lol. The multi-shuttle drill and skipping was easy.. but that stupid bottle thing? Wow. As it is my shoulders are weak... good thing this one didn't affect my shoulders though.

Anyway on Monday nothing ached, so I was reasonably happy. By Tuesday some pain started in my left arm. Today, there's pain whenever I clench my fingers and my left arm has absolutely no energy! AHHHHHHH! Hate this! My right arm no problem.. but I'm not used to my left arm having problems.. sheesh.

Oh well, it better go off soon. And I mean it. *growls*

I'm supposed to go for some drama acted out by Sunway college's arts students, but I don't think I'll be going.. it's Sunday 3pm. Don't want to skip training.. lol. Yeah, kinda funny reason, but it's true. Good thing my teacher's not around this whole week so she can't force me to go. Hahaha! She's the one who wants me to go. *shrugs* no idea why.

Today Dawn and Joyce came over to my house to.. brace yourself.. make Oreo cheese cake! Well, it's still in the fridge, not ready yet. I was just watching the two of them.. and told them to domesticate me. Lol. I mean, ME? Joanne?? Making a cake??! HAHAHAHAHA!

Well. You can shut your gap now. I did. ;-) Not too bad, except we had no idea how to use the gelatine.. so I went out to buy sanatine.. in the rain.. but it started pouring.. so I turned back home. Well, long story, I'm sorry, my left hand is way too weak to continue typing. Anyway, we got it done.

Arrgh. My left hand really really lacks energy now.

*Hand tired*

Going cycling now.

Bye! God bless ya!

Oh! Forgot about my results.. ah, later lah. Just happy with all so far. SO FAR. ;-)
