lost everything

Lost all my NUS photos.. only uploaded about my photos onto FB.. and those weren't the NUS ones.

On top of falling sick after a stressful 4 days of uni - running everywhere to solve class clashes and credit transfer and just trying to finish my studies in 2 more semesters - which I must say has not been solved yet, as usual. The first 2 weeks of every sem is always the same.

Had a pretty horrendous day today with painful ears and throat and nose and head and whatever else a fever and cold can befall upon you lah.

Then my hp died, and is still dead. Cause I tried to update it since it was giving me so many problems.. and now it's dead.

And stupid ol' me no have back-up because my laptop died on me about 2 weeks ago.

So I may have lost thousands of photos. Including NUS ones.

Photos are really really precious to me... memories which can never be relived in the exact same way.

Gah.

I trust your day was better.

So I spent Valentine's Day In a Unique Manner...

Came down with food poisoning/stomach flu, whichever it was that made me feel horribly nauseous and feverish the whole day, whenever something went in my mouth it came out almost immediately.

Ah well, that just makes me appreciate today even more!

Bro (acting as the doc) asked,"How do you feel?"

Me: Feel like shit.

Bro: Err... can't diagnose you nor help you with that kinda answer.

Me: Feel like dying.

Hahaha. Anyway, I'm much better today, back in my beloved PJ! Ok, so I was back since Wed, had a good night out with the man, horrible day the next day in bed, and today I'm alive and kicking and ready to take on the world!

Well actually I'm trying to figure out what classes I have on Monday. Kinda forgot which classes I signed up for.. and I can't check the online timetable until Monday!

Can't believe sem is starting sooo quickly.

But I'm ok la, I like uni.

As people tell me, they can't really tell when I'm on hols or not because I'm everywhere no matter what. Hope that's the case for next sem since I'm not giving tuition!

And JPA is iiiinnn!

Just wanted to ask... WHY?

People are asking me when I'm getting married.

Not just playful questions. The kind that sit down and look at me seriously and ask, "So when..?"

I'm 22 years old! Ok, so my mum got married at 23... but that was HER generation!

Today, an uncle asked me how long I've been with Joash.

"Er...  about 2.5 years??"

"Oh, quite long already. So will be very soon la? *wink wink*"

"*Eyes big big* Noooo, long time more... nooo..."

Haha... so much for saying only the single people have problems with these kinda questions. Those with partners have big pressure also, ok??

Joash is busy establishing his business, and I am busy working on my career. Give us some time and space, pretty please?? Some people say work together only "fun" ma, so may as well get married and live in a rented room.

Well, every couple is different, and Joash and I do not want to start off married life like that.

Besides, I'm only 22! :-O

:-) Birthdays!

The bf and I have pretty close birthdays, less than 3 weeks apart I think.

On my birthday, we went to Cafe Cafe in KL, a place for fine dining and with an extremely romantic atmosphere. Really, it was so romantic I had to read the menu from the single tea candle on our table since it was the brightest source of light. ;-)

And he surprised me with a white gold necklace with a diamond on it. =) I demanded to know the price but he refused to tell. Ah well. I love him anyway!

Later that night we had a super cute, mini birthday cake (courtesy of Joash agaiin) with my family and Joash's elder bro. It was a good time of fellowship, indeed.

Of course, my bf being the man that he is, had to be born on Feb 1 - Federal Territory day. A public holiday which means the roads all over are jammmeeed. Hence we ended up going to Chilli's in Paradigm Mall (that alone took about 20-30 mins to reach thanks to the traffic) instead of my original plan. Still, it was a good meal and a very good date. Just talking about life and things. :)

And I finally got to give him something I've always felt he'd needed... a super canggih manggih Ultrabook! :-D :-D A gift shared between mum, bro and I. Hehehe.

I bought a laptop cooler, mouse, mousepad and headphones along with it... must be complete ma, right?? The only thing I didn't get was an internet modem because tethering off his iPhone data is so much more convenient and fast.

This time, he demanded to know the price. *Hah, let him get a taste of his own medicine* He even offered to trade prices, I tell him the price of his pressie and he would reveal my necklace's price. =P Fat chance. I'm no longer curious about the price of my necklace.

It's been a wonderful relationship over the past 2+ years, and I wouldn't trade him for any other man!
