Arrgh...

I'm currently blogging while waiting for some papers to be scanned. Scanning is a very slow process, and very time-consuming.

Man! At times like these I feel like being home schooled! I won't have to worry so much about these not-so-clever projects then.

Sheesh. Geography, History, KH, and 3 years work to study for! HOW ON EARTH AM I SUPPOSE TO COPE???!

I'm falling... falling... falling... one day *CRASH!* bye bye...

Forgive me for being so pessimistic. I'm sure quite a number of the other form 3s are feeling like me, too much work to do, too little time. It's okay.. gotta be positive..

It's gonna be 10 times harder in form 5.

Yes, I know, how encouraging. But it's true, and in form 5 we can't fool around anymore, it's our FUTURE at stake. Unless you're a rich person with money stashed away, ready to cover up your mistakes(but for how long?), mess up in form 5 and your ambition is... *poof*.

Last piece of paper scanning in. Have a few more minutes to blog.

I haven't been getting enough sleep lately, too busy with stuff, especially school work.

Haven't even started studying yet! And my exams are soooo near.

Nevermind, I'll work hard.

Proverbs 14:23
23In all labor there is profit,
But idle chatter[a] leads only to poverty.

Proverbs 10:4-5
4He who has a slack hand becomes poor,
But the hand of the diligent makes rich.
5He who gathers in summer is a wise son;
He who sleeps in harvest is a son who causes shame.

Proverbs 13:4
4
The soul of a lazy man desires, and has nothing;
But the soul of the diligent shall be made rich.

All are New Kings James Version.

Thanks to a BF'er who pointed these out from Scripture. It sort of 'forced' me to start studying no matter how busy I am.

Printed. Take care!

Okay..

Haven't updated for a while. Gotta make it brief, have stuff to do.

Exams on the 13th May to the 24th May. Have barely started studying anything, too busy with this project and that etc! Arrgh. Just started today, Math. My absolute non-favourite subject. Bleh. I can calculate division, multiplication, addition and subtraction easily enough, but the others... I see no point. My brain lazy to think also.

Received my bronze medal for 800m event today.

Friends came over for NIE project after school. Did hardly any work. Lol!

Now gotta study. Bye bye!

Lost..

Lost... 4-15, 2-15.

They were just too good. But people said we played quite a good game with them, there were rallies here and there.

Our smashes refused to DIE! By 2nd set I had to start dropping because my shoulder was aching. Sigh. Stupid shoulder.

Won today 15-1, 15-0. 2nd set Cp served 15 times in a row, I didn't get to serve at all. Lol.

But esok.. jumpa state players...

Gotta try and give them a good fight. I'm taking it as a challenge. :-)

Well

Today I played badminton for about 4 hours!

Okay, fun. But still.. I've got to start hitting the books. NoOOOO!

Tomorrow I'll play.. then win. Saturday I'll play against the champions, and lose. Then I'll start studying, PRONTO!

Today I was waiting for my mum after training when 3 men asked me to play with them as they were lacking a 4th person. Lol. My partner and I won 17-14. Okay ler, that game not serious one. I think. Hehe. Quite fun. They were pretty nice too.

Holiday today..

Today is a public holiday.. thanks to some prophet mohammad.

So no MSSD today. Got training later though. Hehehe.

I slept at 2am last night, so I wanted to wake up later. But at 9am Jan called me asking me about some stuff.. I'm not too sure what, I was sleepy. Hehe. Then another schoolmate called at 10am.

So I was pretty awake after those 2 phone calls.

Blog later!

Wond 2nd round...

Won the 2nd round today 15-1, 15-1 in doubles.

Okay ler, we were quite relaxed. Our overall performance for doubles this year much better, still make silly mistakes here and there though. And my service... my low service can't be called low sometimes.

Our next opponents looks 'beatable', we saw them play. If we win Friday, Saturday will be against 2 Selangor players..

Today's opponents were quite good for girls who don't undergo formal training. I believe if they train they can, and will improve a lot. They were from Sri Aman.

But we will try out best =D

My power is not there anymore.. cannot kill the shuttle. I need my arm swing power to come back or I'll never be able to play any decent smashes/lobs.

Had fun though, brought my camera, took many videos. I couldn't use the flash so all the pictures turned out blur as badminton is a moving game. Lol. So I recorded it.. quite blur. And the files are HUGE.

Arrgh. Got signed out of MSN. Sigh.

Actually, I'm quite glad I got a good opponent(good for my standard) in the 2nd round, rather than getting it easy all the way until I meet someone far beyond my standard suddenly(Last year). Meeting an opponent that's better than me but not that fantastic gave me a good opportunity to study my weakpoints, and to try to overcome them.

Singles-Lost 2nd round

Sorry ya, yesterday too tired to blog.

Yesterday I won singles 1st round 11-0,11-0.

Today.. played doubles 1st round in the morning. Cp and I won 15-0,15-0. The 1st set I didn't even get to serve, Cp as the 1st server served 15 times. Lol.

Singles I wasn't sure who my opponent was.. some girl from Assunta. It was a Chinese name. Only when I entered the court I realised that it my was opponent from last year's Selangor Open! Last year she didn't use her Chinese name. I nearly spat all the water which I was drinking.

I won 1st set, 11-7. Lost 2nd and 3rd set, 2-11, 2-11.

Not very disappointed though.. she couldn't defend well, but with my shoulder like that I could hardly attack. When I did she made mistakes though.

It was a pretty frustrating game, since all I can do from the base is drop. I lobbed a few times, but without my arm swing, only wrist. All half court. Gave her chance to smash, though she hardly did. And smash.. out of question. Even at half court I didn't(couldn't?) smash hard.. honestly speaking my shoulder is way more important than winning any game.

Without my arm swing I'll never be good. I wonder when it'll be okay.. people say 3 months.. but as my coach said, ligaments are like rubber bands, once loose never tight again. I need to strengthen the muscle around it. Sigh.

People, appreciate your shoulder/arm! I figure my shoulders have always been weak, possibly since birth since the 1st time it ever came out was just caused by a mere push by a small-sized friend.

Anyway, now I'll try my best in doubles. But I won't play until my arm comes out, or feels like coming out(does sometimes.)

I guess it's a good thing I got a strong opponent early on.. God must be having a plan for me. Perhaps my shoulder would not be able to take more rounds, more games? Perhaps He wants me to play doubles more? Since my shoulder injury my singles game has really gone down the drain. He wants to prevent me from further injury?(Scraped my right knee slightly when 'diving' for a shot). IF I had managed to get into quarter finals, I would have met the top seed. If I did, maybe my shoulder would have been dislocated again, my ankle twisted(twisted it slightly yesterday) and countless of other injuries.

My problem is that I have a great tendency to injure myself.. because frankly I don't care much about my physical being. Lol. Then I remember.. my body is the temple of the Holy Spirit. Better take care of it well, whether physically, mentally, or emotionally.

Anyway, good game, good experience, great fun, more fun to come tomorrow. We're playing against identical twins! Hehehe. I am a bit worried that they can confuse us as they're identical. .if one of them is good at receiving service, she may just change place with her sis to receive the shuttle! Lol.

Silly worry. Blog later!

Arrgh...

I HATE sensitive people. Well, I don't hate the person, I hate the sensitivity of the person. It's okay to be hurt by some silly stupid things here and there, but to hold a grudge? Sheesh!

No mood to blog more now.

Sports Day

Last year Yellow house got first.. this year Green got 1st. Yellow did pretty poorly, 2nd last. Still, we won the overall marching title and also the decoration for the house(many weren't happy that Yellow won this).

I took many many many photos.. 100+. I even recorded PBSM's marching.. I would have recorded all.. but no space already.

Took so many until the battery died.. couldn't survive to take the medals presentation ceremony. Oh well. Only 1 or 2 will be used for the NIE project anyway. The rest I took for fun.

PBSM got 2nd again this year... KRS 1st again. Actually I'm pretty surprised the Girl Guides didn't get 1st/2nd, they were very good.

Cp got 4th in her event, good running though. Today all the events were won by atheletes.. expected.

After that Jess, Florence, Huey Ee, Esther and I walked to McD. Well, we wanted to go McD, but it was packed with green house and KRS. So we went to Burger King. Was pack too, but we got a place. BK was filled with PBSM, atheletes, Kadet Polis. Fun ler.

Practically the whole of SS2 was crawling with Seaparkians. I never knew Taman Sea was so close to SS2. Lol. I mean, I knew that, but never knew how to walk there. Now I know. Lol.

Left at 2.30.. followed Esther's mum home.. 5 of us sat behind in a Kenari.. don't underestimate a Kenari okay! Lol. We were squashed though.

Came home.. wanted to sleep. But had to sms a teacher about some badminton stuff. Then I had to call some people up to get some badminton players numbers. Then when I was about to take my much-needed nap, I receive another SMS asking me to buy Pn. Fatimah's retirement present. Then when I settle that, about to sleep, I receive a phone call from a badminton player asking about badminton stuff. Then when I wanted to sleep again, Cp called.

I give up! Forget about sleeping. God obviously doesn't want me to sleep this afternoon. Lol.

Sports Day

Tomorrow Sports Day. Gonna watch Cp be the mascot for Red House, and see her run her 20om event. Hehehe.

I'm skipping a Youth outing besok because of Sports Day.. I told them I was going.. I forgot that Sports Day was on the 16th.

But anyway my brother isn't going for the waterfall outing anyway so not much point for me to go. Although I did want to go to a waterfall.. long time no go.

But good thing also lah.. I always seems to sustain injuries at waterfalls.. and with MSSD coming up I can't afford any more injuries.

___________________________________________________________________

I feel like doing some wild. Haven't done anything really wild since my last visit to Sunway Lagoon.. and that also wasn't really that exciting, been there too many times, though I'd enjoy a visit there someday again.

Any suggestions? I feel like doing something I've never done before.

*Dream on, girl* You'd tell me. =(

Postal Quiz

Today was the Postal Quiz..

As usual, I'm disturbed by some stuff. Get use to it, that's me.

People study soooo hard for this Postal Quiz. This is the time when Bibles are actually opened and studied, but only the 1st 15 chapters of Acts.

They memorise everything, then get high marks in it, then.. guess what?

The Bibles are kept aside, only to await next year's Postal Quiz. Oh sure, it's used during church, but besides that?

I'm kinda sad.. We study so hard for this, worry about it, start saying "Die die die" etc.

When the Postal Quiz is over, our Bibles kept aside, we rejoice when we do well.

We ought to start reading God's Word daily.. now when we study so hard for the Postal Quiz/Bible Knowledge quiz, the reason? Not many want to know God's word.. most people try so hard for their precious idiotic pride. When you do well, wow, everyone looks at you in awe, etc, and you feel proud.

No harm in that I suppose.

Why do we work so hard for worldly things(marks/grades, recognition by man, praise etc) instead of working for God?

Piano Today...

Well, it didn't go that bad. Prayer works wonders :)

And last lesson I didn't practice my pieces AT ALL. This time I practiced right before my lesson(teacher pushed the time from 3pm to 4pm, so I had an hour extra).

She said, "You practiced more this time right?" I nodded my head quickly.. hahaha! Can't wait to be done.

MSSD this coming Monday. Should start with singles. But I don't expect to do well, what more if my opponent finds out I don't lob(hardly, that is) because of my arm. I hope no one will ever know about my dislocated arm.

I'll just pray and ask for God's will to be done. Whether I win or lose, it's up to Him. I'll learn something no matter what.

OH NO! I was too busy completing my History project I forgot to study for the Postal Quiz tomorrow! Take care!

Life..

WARNING: The following post may cause you to pity, sympathise, and comfort me. Should any of these happen in you, STOP reading immediately, leave my blogspot.tk and don't return until I'm happier. And DO NOT pity, sympathise or comfort me. I'm not seeking for any of that.

Life is depressing. Sad.

I've got piano tomorrow. I haven't practiced a single piece, nor memorised a single scale. Last week I memorised half of my scales, told my teacher that. She didn't seemed to understand plain simple English, and tested me on ALL my scales. Of course she didn't get the results she desired!

Stupid stupid stupid stupid piano! Please forgive my language.. my most sincere apologies if you are offended. But piano IS stupid. S-T-U-P-I-D-!

I don't think I can go on until grade 8.. I don't think I can even finish my grade 6. When(I use the word WHEN, not IF) I fail my grade 6, my teacher's gonna be mad.

I won't be upset when I fail my grade 6 practical. I'll know that I did NOT try my best(in fact, the total opposite) to pass.

So what if she's mad. Big deal.

Actually, it'll affect me a LOT when I fail my grade 6 practical. My teacher will push me harder than ever to rub the fact in that I failed my grade 6.

I never imagined that I'll actually give up trying something. Usually I push myself beyond the limit to achieve something. In the case of piano, I was trying to get through all the torturous years of piano. But I don't think I can go on anymore.

But I won't, and can't quit. I'll just go on with it like a zombie, lifeless, yet still there. I may make my teacher so frustrated she'd wish she never had me as a student.. I'm sorry for her. But it's not her fault. It's my fault. I should never have opened my stupid mouth and asked to learn how to play the piano.

Piano is interrupting my life, my studies, and badminton!

I can never enjoy myself thinking of the upcoming lesson. Even during badminton training today I couldn't play properly because of the feeling of dread in my stomach.

That feeling of dread has been there for a long time already.. it just emerges about 24 hours before my piano lesson. Since I was about 7, when I realised my greatest mistake in life.

Actually today a few other things made me mad, but I won't elaborate on the others lest I offend some people.

But the main cause of my gloom, my unliveliness during school and training.. was.. guess what?

You got it.

PIANO.

Get outta my life, piano! You hear me?

GET OUT! GET LOST! GO RUIN SOMEONE ELSE'S LIFE! GO MAKE ANOTHER YOUNG GIRL DEPRESS!

Lord, grant me the strength to go on, please make sure that piano does that ruin my life totally, and grant me comfort in times of piano lessons.

Exhausting Day..

Today has been a very very very exhausting day.

Okay, it wasn't really exhausting. I was the exhausted one. Lol!

I really don't know why, but I think it's because I was really really tired after the physical training yesterday.

I dreaded taking the LRT to BB.. or home. I was debating whether the walk home or to BB was nearer, but both are about the same-endless when you're exhausted. I decided to go BB.. and spent 2 hours there doing nothing! My bro was busy with some chess club thing. I slept there, seem to be doing a lot of that lately. Lol.

Really tired, came home, slept 5-7pm. Wow.

I was so tired I even considered taking a cab home.. but if I wanted to take a cab, I'll have to walk to the LRT station to get one anyway. So..

I walked.. and walked.. and walked.. and walked. Honestly, I was never so tired before!

Let's hope that tomorrow will be a better, less tiring day.

Caught in the rain!

On Thursday went for the check up. The Doc. gave me back my x-rays, and pretty just told me I don't need to see him anymore(in a subtle way).

My mum had a meeting in school, so she went straight to school, and I took the LRT home from there. It started storming.. when I reached Kelana Jaya station, I had to wait a while. So I bought a bit of snack and an ice cream. After waiting for about 15 minutes, I got too impatient and walked home in the rain, eating my ice cream. I must have looked WEIRD. Lol!

Halfway home, a big idiotic(excuse the word) dog chased me. I ran up SK Taman Megah's stairs to get away from it. Scary! I really don't know why dogs 'like' me.

Anyway, took another longer route home to avoid that dog. By that time I was drenched.

And I reached home. Quite an experience. Hehe.

Yesterday I trained. Can't play well with my shoulder still not 100% okay.

Today went for PBSM. Took the test. Quite simple lah except for a few questions.

This year my priorities really changed a lot. Certain things are not as important to me as before. Things I desired before, now I've changed my mind.

Your will be done, not mine Lord.

Prefect Camp!

Well, last weekend was the prefect camp. How did it go?

I wasn't too happy about it. The camp people(the ones we paid to organise the camp) were rude and didn't respect us. Most of them lah, some of them were good. They compared us to other groups. They put us down. How are we supposed to feel motivated?? We came back tired, exhausted, not motivated, and super relieved that the camp was over.

Of course, we had some fun. But we were stressed up too. There was practically punishment for everything! We did 100+ push ups in 1 night. 1 person mistake, all 80 of us down together. I don't mind the push ups, I'm sure my hand will be strengthen from that.

Some facilitators(camp people) called us 'stupid'. Got me mad, angry. The camp comm. humiliated a guy and made him cry in front of us. Got me even angrier!

Are we dogs? We pay THEM to MOTIVATE us, not make us upset and angry! Honestly, I was very very relieved when the camp was over.

I'll give more details later, but not today.
