Ever since last Tuesday's Bible study, what was shared struck something in my heart. Which is fairly normal.. but this time I can't shake it off.....
Too many times we plan our whole lives, have dreams and ambitions.. millionaire by 30, own this, own that, do this, do that.. and we live for these dreams...
Maybe unconsciously I know that I live for such ideals? That's why this thought is so disturbing and provoking. I keep saying I will go wherever God sends me.. but will I really??
God isn't concerned with ensuring we lead extremely blessed, prosperous lives.. He is concerned with making us more and more like Him. The Bible proves that, that's for sure.
The more I learn about our God, the more I want to know Him more... There's just so much to know..! I think I would have covered the Bible several times over if I'd spent more time studying His word instead of numerous revision books over the span of my lifetime.. especially form 6 books!
Contemplating.. hence this blog post. :-)
Change me to be more and more like You everyday, Lord.
