Guard your heart...

How often have girls been told to guard their hearts?

Ok, I don't know. Haha. I hear it occasionally, that's all.

It's one principle I've never thought of, but subconsciously it's something I do zealously. The only person whom I've ever given up my heart to is God.

But how long can you guard you heart? What if.. your heart says... the time is right to open the lock?

I've always been the type of person to trust my heart. I think. Haha. Take Arts stream although all your friends are going into Science.. choose TESL over Law... leave IPDA for home... anyone with HALF a brain would say I made stupid decisions.

But I've always trusted my heart (or more likely my Dad up there is pushing me along) to do the right thing.. and in retrospect, I have no regrets.

But those decisions have never.. affected my HEART itself.

I'm following my heart this time... the biggest risk my heart is taking, considering I've never even risked it before... Beauty & the Beast! ;-)
