Guitar lesson...

Went for my first ever guitar lesson today..

How was it?

Well, my erm.. instructor? teacher? whatever you call him, his a nice fella. He knows I stopped piano at grade 6 though, and so he asked, "Why you stop ah?" with that What kind of student did I just inherit? look on his face. Or perhaps I just imagined it. =P

Just told him that in form 3, PMR, badminton tournaments and piano just didn't go well together.

For some odd reason I used to detest piano lessons, anyway. The dread in my stomach would be there the whole school day, then as the time for the lesson drew nearer I'll practically be in depression. No kidding.

When I stopped piano lessons it was as if a huge burden had been lifted off my shoulders. =)

Anyway, I'm playing the piano nearly everyday now, only songs I like though. No more exam pieces, scales and aural tests! =P I think I can handle it now, since I cut down badminton.. but still.. lemme try guitar, I think I'll prefer it.

Then my.. teacher asked me how I did in my aural test. Cause he was telling me that in his lessons I'll have to sing along with what I play..

I just told him, in grade 6 I was bad in everything. LOL! He went, "Huh?! You failed ah??" *duh* I never even found out my marks. =P Probably 80+ over 150 marks. Hahaha.

Him: In my class you'll have to sing when you play..

Me: Tone deaf then how?

Him: Then I make you not tone deaf lor!

Hahaha.

SPM results out next week...
