I've just been called a "useless daughter" because I've got a meeting on MOTHER'S DAY tomorrow - hence dinner, if we can even have it, will have to be rushed. (Not that it's the first time I've come under fire for having these Sunday meetings but it's the most recent one.)
*sigh*
Comes a time when I wonder why I even bother joining such activities when it obviously interferes with family and relationships...
I recently asked a friend why her church meets for service twice a week, she shrugged and said, "It's been that way since I was born. I never asked why, I just followed."
That reply caused me to wonder if that's why most of us do what we do: just because.
Just because.
Do we?
