MYPG 3

After much debate and hesitance I decided to go for MYPG 3, Malaysian Youth Prayer Gathering.

The first part of it reminded me of a BTN(Biro Tatanegara) talk, with the 1Malaysia concept and all. Yes, we must all love and treat everyone equally, but there are several issues that hinder all races from really uniting. We cannot just tell everyone, you must love them! There are a few... wait, MANY barriers that need to be overcome before Malaysians truly love each other regardless of race and religion. I learnt this the tough way in Kedah.. there are just some things unacceptable to them, and some unacceptable to us. There are questions that have to be answered before people love each other blindly.

But anyway, that was only for the first part lah. I tried (successfully) to throw my cynicism aside and just listened to the rest of it with an open heart. Needless to say, it was yet another reminder about some issues on my heart..

Now I'm back, with more questions than ever, but stronger than ever. Ironical, eh. Well, they say, as you discover God more and more, the more you realise you don't know about Him.

It was a good MYPG, and I agreed to show up more frequently for KLPJ LYPGs.. so I guess my badminton sessions will be sacrificed in place of LYPG. Oh well. :-)

God bless,
Jo

Edit: Looking back at the 2nd paragraph, what I posted has been giving me a nagging feeling, I think I may have been wrong there. Maybe you can love someone blindly after all.
