Took MUET (Listening, Reading and Writing) last Sat(25th April). I don't think I'll do as well as I hoped =( Despite Listening and Reading, and even the summary/short essay being easier than in trials.. I don't know if I blundered my long essay or not. :-(
In trials I was so close, yet so far from band 6. It's utterly frustrating, I tell you! With teachers telling me to 'just get over it' by getting a band 6 first time. They think it's so simple, just snap my fingers and *ta daaa* band 6! It's reaaaal tough to get a band 6 k, in trials I thought I did fairly well for all except Listening, but still ended up with a band 5. High band 5, low band 5, what's the diff? An almost pass is still a failure. Of course, the higher the better.. haha.. *kiasu*
Yeah sure, a band 5 may be enough. But if I'm gonna study English Lit next year the very LEAST I could do is get a band 6, right? :-(
Mid-terms are next week, and I just started studying last week. As in, just unwrapped my History book(1st paper) from its plastic. I know, I know, LOUSY. Haha. I'm stepping up gear though, thank God for a strong foundation in my secondary school years.
I was hoping to do well in the mid-terms, but well... I guess not. Trials, here I come. If I do poorly in trials I'm quitting upper 6 and joining the new batch of lower 6.
LOL. Just kidding. I think. ;-)
Till the next time I blog,
God bless.

Yups true, high Band 5, low Band 5, not much difference. Haha but I take pride in my high Band 5! 9 marks short of Band 6 :( Surprised me initially.
All the best for your trials :) Study til you're a zombie and it'll all pay its worth when you get your results, I promise you. Above all, study your best for the glory of our God :)
God bless :)
Yeah, till I'm a zombie... haha. I'm trying to.. trying to..
For the glory of our God.. Amen! :-) *but I keep praying for rapture to take place first* LOL.
Take care too and God bless! :-)
