Offbeat

What does the word offbeat mean to you?

Say we're talking in musical terms here.

To me, offbeat means just that.. off beat. Wrong tempo, wrong rhythm, wrong beat. =P

Okay, I know I take these terms too literally. I've been asked the meaning of terms in music but somehow usually get them wrong. Haha! I translate the words literally.. to mean what it sounds like or according to the dictionary.

Yeah I know, grade 6 theory in music konnonnya..

That aside..

The good news is, I don't have to worry about long fingernails, hair-length, wearing my badminton pendant on my necklace, etc etc etc anymore. Yaaaaaaaay. After 10 gruelling years of worrying over such petty things(Okay, I'll admit I did loosen up a lot in the later years of sec school)..

But now new problems crop up.

Eh, college have to worry about clothes lah. You know how I am.. just throw on something I'm comfortable with.. but if I end up in some government college I'll have to first of all tutup aurat, jeans aren't allowed.. have to wear long sleeves..

Alamak. First of all only long sleeved stuff I have are jackets.

2ndly I wear jeans nearly everywhere when I have to wear long pants.. weddings, church, funerals.. you name it. I have.. I don't know, countless pairs of jeans..

3rdly-> Do I have to wear something different all the time?? Haiyoh. I think not lor.

4thly-> I'm hungry. Sorry, cannot think already. 6.45pm now.

Oh, before I go off, I've got limited time left in Malaysia. In some ways sad, in other ways pretty happy too.
