Looking back..

Been reading my posts from long ago. My blog is officially 5 years and 9 days old!

I used to blog so differently.

So innocently.

In my eyes, anyway.

What changed me?

Life? Naw, nothing drastic has happened the past few years that forced me to mature suddenly.

Must be the life I had in form 4 and 5..

Is it?

Anyway, just read a post in August 2006.. how studies is for fun, I don't really want a scholarship.. form 6 will be fine for me...

How simple life seemed back then. Or maybe I just did not want to face reality.

I don't think I'm the emo-ing kind of person.. right? My posts are generally happy-go-lucky kinds.

Tomorrow is really proving to be a mysterious gift. Only question that can be asked.. What will it be like?

Anyway,

Yesterday was my 1st official driving lesson. =D My instructor brought me to a parking lot, asked me to drive a few rounds, then felt that I was ready for the road after about half an hour. So I went on the highway on my 1st lesson! =) Went until 3rd gear only though, kept to 40km/h. When I reached 50km/h my instructor kindly reminded me to stick to 40km/h. =P

Then today I went to the circuit to practice my parking and 3 point turn. Would have practised slope too, except that it just underwent some kind of lowering process and needed time to dry. Hey, the lower, the better, right? For our test, anyway. Hehe.

My driving school does it in 3 lessons, 2 hours, 4 hours, 2 hours.

So today was the 4 hours one. After about an hour and a half of parking and 3 point turning, my instructor wanted me to go on the road and learn the exam route. So I did.. not too bad, cars tend to stay away from L drivers. =P With a good reason too. Hahaha! Went around the exam route twice, then my instructor told me to go drive back to Taman Megah! Lol. My driving school is in Puchong Prima you see. So that means.. I was to drive on the highway... on my 2nd lesson...

He told me that on the highway I've got to be faster.. so I was. Was pretty much a 60km/h for a while, sometimes reaching up to 80km/h. Eh, not bad ok for a 1st time on the real highway experience! I even changed till 5th gear! haha.

In Megah area, he found a slope, got me to practise on it.. ok lah, nothing too terribly hard.

Then after that few rounds around Taman Sea area, then the LDP a bit.. then drove to the BP station near Atria.. to pump petrol. Then drove home.

=) Driving is fun. It's my newest toy! Of course, I'm a pretty cautious person so I generally don't like following cars too close behind, but my instructor keeps telling me to keep close to the front car, so no car can cut in front of me..

My test will be on the March 4th. My instructor thinks I'm ready for it, just another lesson to memorise the route and practise the slope.

Let's hope I pass first try.. I know anything can happen... JPJ examiner in a bad mood or me making a stupid mistake..

That was what I originally wanted to blog about, I think. =P
