Tuition!

Turns out I heard my pay for tuition wrongly. I mixed up a '-ty' for a '-teen' per hour. -__-

So now that I'm earning so much more than what I originally agreed to, I'm determined to really give it more than my best.

And honestly, it's quite fun. :-)

Just completed 4 sessions (and got paid at the end of it, which was how I realised my error in hearing the payment!) and things are progressing well. My student is a fast learner and a hard worker. :-) Now we're considering putting her through an exam in a few years time, so that she has some paper qualification.

Which also means I really need to push her. At first I thought it was just UPSR. But we (her employer and I) decided UPSR would be useless if brought back to Cambodia. So now maybe she'll take one of the UK exams. Have to find the best way to teach now, it's not play-play now that it's no longer UPSR! =P

Haha but it's fun, having a goal to achieve. :-)

And of course, the extra incentive - cash. ;-)
