God is good, no? =)
Things are coming together again.
Okay, I said that simply because I'm happy. Hehehe.
CF camp was awesooome. Every CF camp, since form 1, has taught me so so so much. I return from each camp changed in different ways, for the better mostly. Up to recently I've never had such opportunities to enter such camps, apart from CF camps, so I really treasure the CF for giving me the chance to really experience God's awesome EVERYTHING.
The pastor's constant reference to cancer constantly kept me stiffening though. Still, dad's getting better and better now. Thanks to all the prayer warriors out there. People we don't know are calling up to inform us that their churches/cell groups are keeping him in prayer. =) Prayer is one powerful weapon. People are calling up to ask about cancer, in fact! It's almost laughable. Yeah, I know my dad doesn't look like a cancer patient at all, what more at 4th stage. He's fatter than me! How can he look like one?? ;-) God is awesome!
All that I'm going through has taught me, and is still teaching me so so many many things. Lessons I'll never forget. It's a constant battle, and it really hurts at times, leaves me so so vulnerable, but at times like these I'm reminded of God's mercy and grace.
And and, I can sense God working in my life now. =) I've a looong way to go, but better start late than never, Amen?
I'm really happy where I am now, too. =) School, church, friends, home, badminton...
I'm just learning so so so much about life lately, it's sometimes soooo overwhelming, but with God on my side, who can destroy me?
2 Tim 1:7 says, 'For God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power and of love and of a sound mind.'
and
Philippians 4:7 says, 'and the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.'
If the peace I have doesn't surpass all understanding, than I don't know what it is. =)
God bless,
Jo
