Wow

Been checking out the BAM website.. saw this year's 100plus Power National junior circuit's results.. particularly the U12 boys singles' results. The champ was my former training mate..

Well, even from the start of training last year that guy was good I must admit. Couldn't beat him, but at least I managed to give him a fight. In the beginning. Lol. But then he started to really really train, and his parents were there all the time. Then he started improving by leaps and bounds. But I never expected him to take the gold medal in the circuit so soon.. not finals(don't know whether grand finals done already or not cause I can't seem to find the results on it) yet, but for someone who started training intensively at age 11.. to shoot past those who have been training since 5, 6 years is amazing.

But I wonder if it is worth it.. maybe yes, if he makes it really big someday, which really requires a lot of hardwork + dedication + talent... but you always hear about these young people who do well until about age 18..19.. then slowly they start to decline. No, it's not the same for everyone, but look at the former junior world champions. When they get out of the 'junior' world they face the real big guns. I always did tell him to study hard last time.. I intend to find out his results for UPSR when it's out. He was hoping to enter BJSS next year.. don't know if he got it or not. *shrugs* Well, I can only wish him all the best in the badminton world. After all, the sports world is a tough world to be in. There can only be 1 champion, and being a runner-up is never the same. Someone told me before, "When you see the difference between the 1st prize and 2nd, you'd cry". Lol, I didn't cry, the 2nd prize was actually better in my opinion, but in the real sports world there is a difference. Not just a bag or a racquet.

Apart from that.. I'm sick. My body is protesting I guess... sleeping at 2am and waking at 5.45am the past few exam days... hahaha. Miserable time. I really detest being sick. I'd rather injuries like scrape knees, bruises or whatsoever. I'm talking like a duck now! =P

Exams.. have been.. well. Won't do as well as last term. But hey, I keep looking ahead at the bigger picture.. SPM next year. AHHHH! Well, no big deal actually. It's the results day that scare me. Haha. Plus I'm going to be 1 lost person floating around, not knowing what to do. A levels? Ausmat? Matric? Form 6? There are so many options.. no inkling on what to do.

Oh well. Still have time.

It's 1.45am now. Gonna hit the sack soon. Bye!

God bless
