Been having stomach problems after the Prefects' pot luck this morning. Prolly too much food =P.
Woke up at 8am this morning. Mum bought the mee for the pot luck. What happened at the pot luck?
Firstly, the attendance was very very disappointing. About half the prefectorial board were absent. I've no doubt some of them will come up with creative lies that will get them off scot free.
So.. we had too much food, too few prefects. Lol. And the Ms. Woo, the camp facilitator was hospitalised.. so the Excos had to come up with something, and quick.
They did a pretty good job though. The games were fun. And the food? I don't know about others, but I enjoyed the food. Hehehe. Think I over ate though, I had stomach aches when I reached home. Lol.
At the end of it, cleared up, cleaned the toilet, and walked home at 1.45pm. Reached home at 2.20pm. Was pretty tired. Yesterday I did more than usual walking, so naturally I'm tired today.
Left for youth at 2.50pm. I was really tired, and had stomach aches every now and then. Lol. I'm used to this life by now. So far.. I'm surviving. With my lack of sleep and activities.. I wonder how long more I can go on like this..
Shared on John 15. Can't say it went well. I really didn't know what to say. I couldn't seem to get the 'revelation'. Or perhaps I was too afraid to speak my mind out. Perhaps I felt intimidated by some of them. IMO, I don't fit in too well with my youth group. I don't know why. The ones my age are too quiet. The older ones.. well, they group together. Can't blame them though, who wants to mix with younger kids? Anyway, none of them read my bloggy so it's safe to post this. =P
Actually, I don't mix well with older people, eg. my seniors. I'm really not the kind to be friendly, "Hi hi etc" to my seniors. Firstly, I feel like I'm budging in. The seniors that I know well, although few, but I know them well.. are because THEY took the initiative to talk to me first.
Some people enjoy 'sucking up' to their seniors. Not me. I've always disliked that kind of atittude. They think it's 'cool' to have senior friends, and they can boast to their friends.
Sadly, some seniors eat this all up. They enjoy it. I never did, and never will. As I'm pretty much the quiet kind(and most of us get nowhere because we aren't friendly), I try my best to raise up the quiet ones. Basically I'm referring to the prefect board last year. Unfortunately, the others liked the ones that talked a lot, and were their friends. The quiet ones, who in my opinion did their duties better than those who had to concentrate on talking and doing duty, were put aside.
What can I say? That's life. A vicious cycle.
Slept 3 hours this afternoon/evening. Tumbled straight into bed after youth group. I was exhausted. Woke up only to accompany my mum for dinner.. otherwise I'll probably still be sleeping now.
Arrgh. Having a stomach ache.
God bless
