Hello everyone!
Today I went for badminton club in school. When I arrived, we (badminton club members) had to clear all the chairs in the hall! There were only about 10 people to help... hehehe CPLee and I joked, saying clearing those amount of chairs had us warmed up already. Anyway, the badminton session went great, played about 2 1/2 hours, was from 8.45am to 11am. Played a few games and won. =P
At about 3pm, my church youth group came over to my house. We had a really great time. First we praised and worshipped God. After that, we had our group discussions on our Living With Christ books. This was followed by games. We were divided to 2 groups, each group consisting of 9 youths each.
The 1st game was a passing the message game, otherwise known as 'Memory Game'. Both groups got the message totally wrong, my group's message got the entire plot wrong, whereas the other group's story ended up with buying a LARGE underwear! My group won that game, because somehow or other the 1st person managed to tell the last person a bit about the original story.
For the 2nd game, we remained in our groups. The objective of the game was to transfer a whole bunch of rubber bands without dropping even a single rubber band while being transferred into a white container. We were only allowed to use out mouths and straws, and the bunch of rubber bands had to be passed through every single person in the group, before going into the white container. My group thought of a rather disgusting strategy, it consisted of biting each other's straw! Although my group won, the fact remains that we had to share saliver! When the other group heard our strategy, they were pretty disgusted and were glad THEY didn't have to share saliver! Lol!
After the games, we celebrated the birthday babies of January, February, and March. Too bad they remembered that I was borned 'somewhere between there' and I had to eat whipped cream to find my 'suprise' in it. While I was bending over (they made us stand up to eat our whipped cream), 'Aunty' Tina tried to push my head into the whipped cream, saying, "There's a suprise in there! Eat somemore!" It was pretty obvious she was trying to push my face into the whipped cream.... managed to refrain my face from getting whipped cream all over it though! Lol. =P Some other birthday babies had to eat 'Wassabe' (However you spell it). There was chilli padi in it... unfortunately it wasn't hot enough to make any of them create havoc...
Well, that's all for today,
Joanne Lim
